Thermography measures surface temperatures by using infrared cameras. Images record the temperature variations of the building, ranging from white for warm regions to black for cooler areas. The resulting images help determine where heat is escaping and as a quality control tool, to ensure that insulation has been installed correctly.
Poor water quality is the most common cause of central heating failures. We check the pH, corrosion and inhibitor levels in your heating system as part of our inspections. Good water quality is crucial when it comes to protecting heating systems so they can operate efficiently.
Snagging is an inspection of your new build house or flat to identify defects that the housebuilder needs to rectify. The snagging inspection will identify anything that falls below high standards of workmanship and anything not completed to specification. We also identify issues that breach building regulations.
Even minor defects can potentially lead to major issues in the future so we would always advise a professional report to be carried out to save any costs to you that could be avoided by having the builder carry out remedial works. After booking your inspection our snagging inspector will visit your home. We will undertake a thorough internal and external inspection of your property following NHBC guidelines and create a report on our findings. All inspections include Thermal Imaging and Central Heating checks as standard.
After our visit you will receive an emailed PDF Home Inspection Report and a copy of NHBC guidelines should you need to contact them. We aim to send your detailed home inspection report within 24hours. Our report includes details of defects found and photo images. The report includes everything required to return to your house builder and have them rectify the defects. We are also on hand after the initial inspection to answer any questions you may have.

Great service. Very quick to organize but Martin really took the time in the day to carry out a thorough inspection. He picked up lots that I would never have noticed. Well worth the money.
